>>9908429Why is there a /v/ thread on /pol/?
>Every other comment is a quip or some other retarded remark.Just like every character in every other game that doesn't feature mutes?
>She's nothing like her original characterYeah kinda. Then again, people tend to change with time, and this game takes place five years prior to HL2 so...
>Gordon's lack of dialogue in the previous installments was perfectYeah, but now that you mention it, if Alyx wasn't talking at all, you'd still be complaining about her silence not being anything like her original character.
>The levels are boringAbout as boring as HL2, IMO. The pace is different because of VR, and I agree it doesn't quite feel the same but I don't mind it. I usually take ages to navigate levels anyway because I enjoy inspecting every detail of every square inch.
>Sometimes things in life happen for a period in time and are goneYeah, because Marc Laidlaw left Valve, Eli Vance's voice actor died, a bunch of other people quit, etc. This is the era of "nu-Valve", and basically everything they make is shit due to laziness brought on by having a monopoly on the PC gaming market since they would receive 30% cut of game sales on their platform. They don't have to make games anymore, just sit on ass and leech off everyone else. Anyway, HL:A was actually OK... I didn't like it a lot but it's not as bad as you say. But yeah, fuck Valve.
>>9908431Poorfag copeniggers are laughably working on making the game playable without VR, which is a fruitless endeavor since they'll never experience the immersion of room scale VR or correctly interact with the environment using their own hands. Most likely they'll bitch about Alyx being a shit game due to how slow to react the AI is (they're handicapped for newfag VR users).
>>9908440Normies get motion sickness pretty easily. I've had five of my co-workers try VR on different occasions and three of them felt nauseous anywhere from five to 40 minutes. Not every VR game is teleport
