you can only get infected by replying to an infected. mods knew the immediate assumption would be the other way around, and that the dirty pozzed masses would just be replying to everyone to try to infect them.
only if you are provoked into (you)ing them back do you actually get it.
it is a lesson against getting baited. be calm and collected and dont get baited, and you'll stay clean and pure
