Given two partners that both have partial white ancestry is almost a guarantee that the child will express closer to white than either of the parents.
Eventually all traces of the other races the whites cross bred with will lose the majority of genetic expression in further generations save but a few traits.
The only way to prevent this is to overwhelm the system.
But drake is half Jewish and knowing blacks has some Jewish genes from that side of his family as well, she looks to be 1/4 white or Jewish herself. this combined to make a child that expressed more white genes than either parent.
