Hey /pol/, are there any NoFappers here who consider their commitment from a religious aspect?
You know it's Lent (the 40 day period between Ash Wednesday and Easter), which is a perfect opportunity for giving up something that is harmful for you for the sake of the Lord. The perfect opportunity for giving up porn and masturbation altogether for 40 days straight and continueing if you can.
Now I'm on NoFap since February 26, Ash Wednesday. Longest I've ever done. I thought my cravings peaked around day 14, but as we go closer to Easter, they just get worse and worse. Since I haven't watched a single porn image in the last weeks, now my dreams are all about sex and always wake up with a raging boner. It's really hard getting through the day, but I consider each day a new miracle if passed w/ porn.
Anyone with similar experiences? When you expected it to become easier over time but the opposite happens? Would you think is it because of the devil who doesn't want me to finish this 40 days of offering to God?
Also NoFap and Christianity General, what have you decided to give up on this Lent?
