But flat earth does not come off as that. It has too many holes, it’s not a sound alternative to believe in. Flat earth does pretty much everything worse than globe earth does, the only exception being laser experiments, which arguably can be explained by globe earth as light refraction.

And how often two of the regions experience daytime at the same time. How would this look under this map? Would the sun stretch it’s light out in a curved line, while carefully making sure not to shine too far north, where those regions are experiencing a dark winter?
