I only bring home $1600, my rent is only $300 because "It's an old house." and my utilities are usually less than $100/mo, car insurance is $30, internet $45, phone $45.
I always have a lot of spending money left over for beer and guns.
It's about living within your means, I still have my job but at reduced hours (still getting paid the same) so this $1,200 will be nice.
If you can't live off of $1,200 you fucked up somewhere, had kids you weren't ready for, bought something you couldn't afford (debt), or didn't move to a place with cheaper rent.
