You could interpret that in a number of ways but I think some of that is owed to meat market apps like Tinder. Not everyone uses it but it's very degrading to the idea of true love. Like, the gulf between the feeling of meeting someone you click with in the wild and finding some single you would fuck on Tinder and going, "well, hope this works" is huge.
