Namely gloves and stuff. Don't get lazy with your hands though. Even doing things poorly is beter then getting stuck in a lazy rut.
Maybe for your hair try making a sort of flow guide for yourself first. Draw her head bald first, pick a few key spots on the scalp, and draw a single line flowing down as a single stand of hair. Then, you can follow that movement when using standard hair drawing styles and techniques.
