But to get any specular at all in MMD requires custom shaders, because of the lack of proper gamma in the default shader, which means nothing can rely on specular material settings for good-looking specular.Well that turned out to be more difficult than expected. At least Raymmd won't put specular reflections on something that's fully transparent (like the cornea). And I could get the specular reflections by using glass material, but then the semi-transparent faux reflection (in the cornea texture) disappeared... compare to the versions in
>>2881236I'm not completely sold on this yet but at least this way I don't have to mess up the normals of the model and only work with material shaders instead. And maybe I'll find a way to get actual reflections while keeping the transparent texture with the faux reflections (because they're kind of "her look" and e.g. Suzukaze's look different).
