Just to try out, I disabled mine, but seriously. There are more ads than content on the site and the worst thing is the type of the ads, all animated, "get porn here", huge dicks and ugly ass 3dpd flashing everywhere. Even gelbooru is better, but still shit.
I don't know how you usually search images, but browsing pixiv is impossible for me (I don't speak Japanese, and there is some paying customers only functionality on pixiv as well) and you can't really search images well on twitter.
I really need a good booru anons, but all the others are too small or limited compared to sankaku's ~6million and gelbooru's ~3,6million images. I seriously considered to rent a few servers and just scrape sankaku, including tags, source links, resized and full sized images, but they have an extremely strict rate limiting rule in use and the API is closed from public, since they released a mobile app. Funny how they try to make a living of backstabbing the community which built their database up from nothing.
