That not only allows for separate progressions as each girl has a chance to gradually get used to it, it opens up new dynamics as the girls react to each other's embarrassment. A girl who's been through more embarrassment and is more used to it could display sympathy for a girl who's not as used to it yet, while the girl who hasn't been embarrassed much at all can feel extra dread when it starts to happen to her because she's already seen what it was like when it happened to the others.
