>>1848504“Lose against me. More specifically, don’t take out any of my Pokémon. You would lose regardless, of course; but as yourself, my main motivation is to avoid any sort of humiliation whenever possible. To be honest, your Mudkip is very strong; and it’s not unlikely he could take out one of my Pokémon out. If your Ralts and Turtwig could take another one… that would put me in a fix. It’s not likely to happen, but if two of my Pokémon were to be knocked out in the next few fights, I would have to take off my glasses and then my pants. I would much rather not have that. What do you say, Melody? A certain and easy victory traded for something as simple as giving in early towards what would happen anyway.”
a) Agree. Getting a strategy from a trainer with three Gym Badges is tempting. As for giving up when I’m against her… I’ll think about it when the time comes.
b) No way. I can win this fight on my own, and then figure out a way to beat her. I don’t need this.
c) This gal is too full of herself. We could sabotage her right now… it would give little Laurie a small chance of victory and teach Amanda a lesson.
d) Tell her I don’t need any strategy. Just knowing what I’m up against is fine, and if she doesn’t tell me somebody else will.
e) Write in.
