The "Comăneci" is named after the world famous female Romanian gymnast
who was the first athlete to score a perfect 10.0 and also won
5 gold medals. The comedian Takeshi Kitano, the one from Takeshi's castle,
invented it to make light hearted fun of the high leg uniform worn by
female gymnasts. The "Haigure", a misspelling of the Japanese pronounciation
of "High leg" which appeared as a joke in the anime "Crayon Shin-chan", is
basically the same pose, but in a high leg swimsuit/gymnast suit.
