Devon Blakert has an interesting career combination, as, you see, she is a detective, and a pretty damn good one, at that, using her other job to gain information and keep on top of everything in the city. Her character as a stripper, under the stage name "Black-Heart Deviant," and her detective identity are both known by only a few people, as her personality, as Devon and as Deviant are completely different. It also helps that she is capable of changing her eye color by shifting mana. As Deviant, her eyes are aqua, as Devon, her eyes are brown.
The heroes meet her during both instances, outside the club, and during her performance, during her final show. The militia were looking for the heroes, when they ducked into the club. Devon finds herself in the middle of a fight between the hero, Nero, and the bounty hunter, Zack, and his goons, and is forced to reveal her identity to stop Zack, her target that led her to that club.
Upon taking Zack into custody, and being fired from her position in the club, and relocated as a detective, she decides to leave and join the group in their quest. Surprisingly, she is the tactician of the group.
