Anyway, apparently only few people can see her (as I said, I'm getting this from the Japanese Wikipedia:
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%9F%E3%82%B9%E3%83%86%E3%82%A3%E3%83%83%E3%82%AF%E3%83%BB%E3%83%9F%E3%83%A5%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B8%E3%82%A2%E3%83%A0 ).
She used to be the Goddess of Family, Hearth and Fire. She can manipulate fire and can "feel the residual thoughts of things a person touched recently" (visions?).
She didn't actually have a name when they met, it was Dudley who gave her one.
The other person who can see her at the beginning at the novel is the director of the museum Anthony Panizzi. He seems to be in good terms with both characters.
Also, it seems the last volume (number 3) was released on April 2009.
Either it was not that good or the story ended pretty fast due to lack of interest by the Japanese (I can't tell without actually being able to read through it)
