>>2886896>>2887373I've talked about this before, possibly even the last thread, but the problem with ENF stories is just the nature of embarrassment of an emotion, and how it rapidly dwindles with time in the same situation. A long term ENF story can't just keep reusing the same level of situations because our brains adapt to the situation and it doesn't seem as embarrassing the 3rd, 4th time it happens. Meanwhile if you keep escalating you run into the problem of it becoming something different and more extreme than ENF, or becoming unrealistically elaborate and comical which also detracts from the audience relating to the embarrassed feeling.
