I prefer the nips version, but I can kinda see the appeal. It's more titillating almost when the raw details are left to the imagination despite being so out-in-the-open.
See example. To me, there's something far more "erotic" about the composition of something like this. Like, once you can actually just see everything out in the open, it becomes more matter-of-fact or clinical. I don't think that makes it bad per se, but yeah, I see the appeal of these more teasing compositions.
