>>2287161>What kind of game are we talking about here? Visual novel? Sandbox like? What is the goal?I can only make a small action game with free roaming area that includes player's base and some areas of a town to mess around with NPCs or something, so that's where I'm aiming. Visual novel is way beyond my writing ability. I can probably spark imagination with a hacked together scene, but I can't produce prose or even decent dialogue. I just know it's going be bad and I've got to deal with it.
>In any case, personally I would prefer if it was in a public setting. Trying to keep her reputation intact is a better goal (for me).I feel you. In my mind, it's not a stealth game. You will fight enemies (fantasy-ish kind) and the heroine is a capable warrior. However she was sent somewhere rather unpleasant to complete her task. Locals do not trust her and don't like her employer. I expect her to be mistreated by authorities and plebs alike.
>If it´s a story driven game, then I rather she invariably gets caught at the endI hope it's still going to be fun to beat the game without taking even a glove off. I think stealth is only going to be limited to some scenes. I just don't know how to make stealth fun, to be honest. It's a hobby project that I won't spend years on, so I'd rather stick to simple gameplay that works.
>Personally I would find it hotter if there are penalties for failing or getting caught by your enemies, like those in the kinky mode of that old rock-paper-scissors enf game.Yes, penalties are fun and feeling responsible for incurring them is especially fun when cute girl gets in trouble. If you can list penalties and things heroine can do not mentioned before, that would be good. When you get as many suitable verbs and nouns as possible at your disposal, it's easier to brainstorm a scene.
