To me Its a fucking pain in the ass to have different models because its already bad enough having to select between two different gens from the same model, to add having to decide between several different models. When you start with that, there is no end to it, and you make it on 6 different models and start to go up and down over and over again checking each one to decide wich one is better.
So I pick one model and stick to it.
I always have a second model per each base model as backup, but never more than that.
Although thats me since I'm undecissive and want to avoid having lot to choose from
