I did come back to it to make a bunch of corrections and improve on my phrasing, a problem that will not be fixed completely anytime soon. Ashley should actually seem halfway British now, and the speech of several characters should be more consistent so they all feel like different people with their own little quirks.
It's the shaving scene. Can't end up writing anything I'm happy with; the other shaving scene was too close. Also laziness, and Steam sales. I do try to at least make an attempt every time I read someone wonders what happened to the story in the threads.
Should probably just accept the shaving scene will suck and move on.
