Ami Harumi was an average collegiate in just about every way. She was average height, average weight, average intelligence, average grades, and a little above average speed and strength. She kept her average length black hair tied back in an average looking pony tail. She wasn’t exactly a beauty, but she was attractive in an average kind of way. She did have fantastic legs though, she was proud of them and worked hard to keep them particularly toned. A happy side effect was that her rear was nicely toned as well. Which was a good thing, because her breasts were a bit on the small side, and she was a bit touchy about that.
Ami was, however, decidedly unaverage when it came to one part of her life. She was a super hero. The power of time was in her hands. Or, well, the ability to sense something’s imminent occurrence. And the ability to change probability for things to happen. But that doesn’t sound as cool as controlling time.
And so it was that Ami was lounging on her couch in sweatpants and a hoody, watching the latest hip anime while she ate some chips, just like an average collegiate, when a precognition hit. Flashes of a disaster went through her head. Buildings damaged, people hurt, and an ominous silhouette in the distance. As always, she didn’t get the firmest idea of when it would happen, other than “soon.” So off she went, changing into her super hero costume in a flash (she kept it hanging near her door for such occasions).
She made sure, as it happened, to be hip and above average in this department too. She had paid extra for a top notch fashion designer-to-be at her school to whip it up for her. Black thigh-high boots, a close fitting (but not skin-tight, that was asking for a wardrobe malfunction!) silver body suit, a silver mask (silver was “in” this year) to cover her eyes, and of course, a black ankle-length cape, trimmed in silver. A stylized KG hung over her left breast to complete the outfit.
