Back in the day, I used to mud, always as a female character. It was a great escape from my body. Rarely did mudsex--transsexualism really isn't real about sex, it's about gender--but now and then. I have a whole, consistent backstory for my female persona, but mudding is pretty much dead these days, and I haven't found a suitable replacement.
