I observe this weird phenomenon whenever I download pics from pixiv app. Everytime, the picture has these shitty rings/halos within colored areas and I have no clue what to call them. I believed it to be a Pixiv thing, but when I travel to an artists respective website like tumblr or even the mobile browser version if pixiv, I get an entirely better image. What is this? I'll post some examples and try to keep it /e/ but this is really annoying since I use my phone for pics more that my computer and apps are generally faster than web browsing.
