>>2754850An erotic story you sell needs to be niche enough to get the attention of a thirsty demographic while also being broad enough to not alienate people buying porn on Amazon. ENF/CMNF is a pretty easy realm to entice a customer, because the literature is so few that anyone seriously into it could easily read all of it in a few months, stretching from the 90's.
Another factor is ENF can also become "dated". From my experience, people tend to like ENF from their coming up period, from mid teens to late twenties. Maybe not characters of that age range, but the culture and technology from that era. I personally hate seeing smart phones in modern stories because it's just not something that was widely available when I was younger, and I feel it drastically changes the dynamic of an innocent, fleeting moment in a permanent humiliation.
Also, I might just be old, but since Writings of Leviticus stopped updating and Indian Outlaw closed down years ago, I don't really see much "softcore" ENF stories being produced anymore? Especially long form novels. I'm not sure if it's because video and pictures are so easily accessible today, or zoomers just aren't interested in not fucking the ENF or something, but I haven't really read a good, single author ENF story in a long, long time whereas there was an active community in the late 90's to the late 2000's.
