Eh, Nina stands out to me because of her awesome, authoritative. Sure Mary McGlynn doesn't sound even the least bit Irish, but I'd rather she not even bother with one rather than butcher it.
And it's kind of annoying that when Samus was actually performed by a decent voice actress (Jennifer Hale), all she had were non-verbal vocalisations like screams and grunts. Cue the Metroid game where Samus has a fuckton of dialogue and and they recast her with someone that sounds like she's reading a grocery list.
What the hell, Nintendo? I can understand you not wanting your armour-clad space heroine not to sound like Commander Sheperd, but there were so many othr voice actresses out there you could have tapped.
The again, considering the overall standard of the voice work in Other M, maybe the direction was more at fault.
