>>2138946I like them to have enough technology or maybe ancient technology for at least some sort of transportations to exist, like trains or flying boats, something of a mix of magic and steampunk. Not enough to have guns(or these being incredibly rare), but enough to have cannons and stuff like that. Mages and Warriors feel balanced, there'd be better freedom for transportations and for news to travel, feeling as if the worldis more connected, and just enough technology to have versatility of settings, perhaps with few super-ancient-high-tech ruins while also having the ice temple, the sky city, the magma dungeon, etc.
It may be more cliché, but I specially like that kind of thing. Kind of like old JRPGs and MMOs.
