unless i missed something in the lore that changed human biology so they can reproduce without males, or they deported all males somewhere else, it's weird to omit all males in places where they would be.

obviously believing in magical powers requires some suspension of disbelief but they follow some rules and logic and as long as it's not too retarded we buy in for the sake of enjoying it. but if they break their own rules that they setup then it stretches the suspension of disbelief, and if it goes too far then it becomes less enjoyable.
having it take place in an earth-like world while omitting all males in places they would otherwise be, and offering no explanation for why they are not present, it hurts the suspension of disbelief.
clearly not showing any males doesn't ruin the show, but it loses out on some ENF opportunities by going that route
