>>2725376>>2725382>>2725397Yes, but not quite. You're right on 子. However, の as a nominalizer does sometimes get translated as a possessive because that's what they use instead. "A priest's kid/the kid of a priest" and "a priest kid" has just as different of a meaning in jp as it does in english though, and would be written differently.
女神官 or female priest is her name in jp. Sometimes she's called 神官ちゃん shinkan-chan. 神官の子 would still be more akin to "girl of faith" or "god-government's girl" or some variant if being very literal. It's just calling her priest/priestess though.
