Due to how the pledges work, she couldn’t get dressed until she settled her debt, because technically any clothes she acquired belonged to the winner.
But then, the other girl lost a game where she wagered that everything she owned would go to charity. Because she didn´t specify a time frame, this other girl was unable to have any possessions, even clothing, as she had to immediately donate it away. Therefore, the first girl´s debt was effectively impossible to be repaid and the two were stuck naked.
