For all the times that they are supposed to be quiet and unnoticed, they sure talk pretty loudly. Or Rei turns her back to the zombies to talk to the others. Since the zombie was moving towards her at rate X, it must have stopped moving to give Rei enough time to talk. I sure wish anime would stop doing things like that where the enemy stop attacking until the characters finish talking.
