>>1784951And just like that Green’s team of pokemon grew again, even if Bulbasaur was her only currently healthy one. She didn’t want to waste a potion on Weedle, not when she was convinced she was close to the exit of the forest.
Getting back to the path took a lot of effort, she had to fight through vines and roots tripping her up, branches clinging at her clothes as she walked by, and a few more wild Weedles (what was there like a nest of them nearby or something?) but while the first two were kind of painful and aggravating, Bulbasaur’s increasing strength made the insects just a mild annoyance. The worst was when she stepped in a pile of that String Shot goo that she didn’t notice until too late and just like that she was barefoot, her last shoe and both socks gone in a flash. “At least now my legs are even again.” But that was little solace. She’d have to get some shoes in Pewter along with a shirt to replace the one dangling across the right half of her torso, and probably some new pants, unless she had misheard the occasional tearing noise as she walked through a thicket of branches a few minutes ago.
A quick glance down told her that she was correct, although it wasn’t too bad, just some rips, none higher than mid-thigh. Not great, certainly, but everything was still covered. There was a loose string that she frowned at, that could potentially become a problem if it unraveled. Before she could do anything about it though, she stumbled out onto the path. Finally!
“I’ve been waiting. You’ll never beat my bug pokemon!”
