>>2572511From what I understand, Angel Links was the end result of a messy production, since there was a plan for another season of Outlaw Star, with Gene having to search for Fred and winding up with a new ship when the OS gets stolen or whatever. Real shame, since there were clearly some plot threads in place like the McDougals still being a threat, and Gene and the crew being in trouble with some of the other factions over the entire Weyline situation.
