Some anons, mostly OC makers (including myself), honestly wanted to give some OC to /e/ too since /v/ knows both boards are lacking on that, those were their main intentions. /x/ then said they preferred to go alone for the same reason you said, because they didn't want to feel as a trophy or one of /v/'s sluts so the plans stopped there. When things blew out of proportions with /x/ supposedly wanting to go with /int/ now, /v/irgins were easily convinced by a handful of loud anons (maybe only one anon) to go back with /e/. OC makers were too tired of all the crap to care and so far some have stopped for now.
There were good intentions at the beginning, my fri/e/nd, I can assure you that.
