Even if the girl is comfortable going nude in private/among friends/under extraneous circumstances/etc, the realization of "distance", or rather the realization how far you are from being clothed and presentable to normal civil society, and what pride and dignity you'd have to swallow in order to cross that "distance" can believably weigh anxiously on even relatively confident characters.
