To set those up just go to services->manage tag siblings, it can be used to replace tags with other ones too.
Also you can still post files from Hydrus onto places like 4chan etc, just right click the file and go to share->copy->path, then on 4chan open the image selector box and paste the path into the filename section, and click open.
You might also be able to just drag+drop images from Hydrus, all depends on your setup though.
And before I forget:

That way you won't have to worry about making sure your imported files are in the same location as when you first imported them, etc.
But really once you've imported files and tagged them Hydrus should be the main way you access them anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it.
