>>3034591I think there's too many at this point, and and most are not different enough to mention. Even the differences worth mentioning are minor:
Euler variants tend to smooth things out, they're better for simpler art styles, especially flat color but also just anime in general.
DPM variants are more noisy, they tend to add detail to textures but also clutter to backgrounds, just "more" everything. They work better for 3D-ish styles and are ideal for photorealism, because photographs are somewhat noisy by default and just look airbrushed otherwise.
Special mention to euler_smea_dyn, which is euler but also a failed attempt at replicating the SMEA sampler in NAIv3. It keeps your gens stable at higher resolutions, similar to RAUnet or Deepshrink. But at the cost of more limited seed variability, and it absolutely sucks for img2img, inpainting, upscaling, etc where it ends up removing detail.
Special note on Heun, as a second-order sampler it takes twice as long but only needs half as many steps.
Schedulers make even less of a difference, and were originally meant to pair up with a specific sampler, even though you can mix and match.
Special note on Karras, it fucks up either v-pred or z-snr and shouldn't be used on noobAI or its merges.
