To summarize though:
1. Counterfeit v3
2. adetailer for faces
3. Use specifics in adetailer (see the catboxes)
4. My upscaling is very lazy, typically I just use hires fix, 2X at between 0.2 and 0.4 denoise, sometimes more if I'm feeling adventurous.
5. Short prompts help clarity a lot of the time.
6. White backgrounds are more likely with "illustration" in the tag, "pinup" or "pinup pose" seems like it helps it along, plus it tends to may things interesting. Try "dynamic pinup pose" too. It may seem obvious, but prompting "white background" often helps.
