Aria follows and tries to circle the tree; but I run in the complete opposite direction across the tree and stay out of her reach. We’re facing one another with this huge log between us. She turns right, I turn right. She turns left, I turn left. She stops, I stop. We’re on a deadlock.

I weight my options, and take a decision.
