"Trace mode" is like... "no calculation" while editing scene and "anytime" while playing. Except you can't move verticle that are otherwise subject of gravity (like skirts of the most part, they can be moved in "co calculation" but not in any other mode). Is that about it?
What about "on/off mode"? As far as I can tell it's same as "anytime".
