But obviously it's open for debate. Phoenix Wright takes place in an obviously exaggerated, but for the most part pretty consistently realistic world on the one hand, then on the other has literal ghosts, psychic powers, and the afterlife. So I wonder when Maya and Pearl are being possessed if their physical bodies are actually transforming or if it can all be calked up to magic. At the end of the day I wonder if it even matters as the apparent difference in size may be due to Maya and Pearl's kimonos pressing them together while Mai's unbuttoned suit top made them fall to each side. I don't know, at the end of the day it might not matter because there isn't that much of a difference.
