>>1839809I’ve decided. I don’t care if I get poisoned, it’s still better than getting repeatedly exposed. Convinced of what needs to be done, I walk towards the Pokémon; my net high in the air. The Spinarak still doesn’t move or react; it doesn’t either when I’m at four feet, from it; nor when I give yet another step.
When I’m about to swing my net, however; it surprises me by jumping right at me.
“EEEEEEEK!”
I strike by reflex with my eyes closed. Then again and again, I’m swinging that net as a maniac. I run out of stamina pretty fast, though. I open my eyes, and Master is walking to me.
“Well done, girl” Master congratulates me. “You’re supposed to trap the Pokémon in the net, not knock it out cold; but it is a respectable style.”
He points at the ground; the Spinarak is lying in the ground face up with its small legs twitching.
“Oh, no! Did I do that? Is it going to be okay?”
“That is up to you; that Spinarak is your responsibility now.”
He throws a Pokéball at me. I’m distracted so it hits me in the head; I catch it when it bounces off letting the bug catching net go, though.
“We could go back, now” He says “That is, unless you want to get a head start from your friend and start training. You’re going to need every advantage you can get to catch up to her fast-growing Pokémon.”
a) No way. Bug catchers are on the way.
b) Well… if it means having an advantage over Aria it might be worth it.
c) Tell him the truth before taking it any further. I’m not a bug lover and I didn’t come to his house to train.
