>>2298083In my post, I linked attempts at upscaling it in Waifu2x, and it came out quite well, aside from the darker colors (which were there to begin with) and some smudgy linework. Still smaller than the original image I posted, but could be something to work off. I thought I made most of this clear enough in my posts and I'm not sure why you got so confused/overlooked so much.
Here is that image. I upscaled it again in Waifu2x and it's nearly the same res (though with the blank white portions), and the quality isn't any less. But it also turned out to be over 5 mb, so I can't post it. You can easily recreate it yourself though:
http://waifu2x.udp.jp/Again, all that probably needs to be done is upscale a scan in Waifu2x or something, clean up (and likely do a bit more resizing) of the missing portions, and attach them to one of the digital versions I posted (also fix the jpeg artifacts or fix the coloring.) There might be a scan of similar quality with more accurate colors than this one though.
It's of course up to you if you want to continue this, but what I've provided and outlined should make it much easier than what you've been doing (good job on the linework you did do though).
