>>2471123The word that comes pre-installed in Windows 10 is the "unlicensed" version that only opens in "protected view" with more limited functionality than wordpad or in some ways even notepad. And yet it still takes 30-90 seconds to open. I've been using it to copy the story into notepad and reading it there, at least until I got to the part with colored text. That seems to be the only significant formatting element so far that couldn't be reproduced in plain text. The occasional use of italics or bold can be indicated like *this*.
>It is sort of inevitableYou're the writer - nothing is inevitable except what you want to happen. You decided to construct a "MG society" based on discipline and revenge and overt uses of hard power, and you decided that sexuality has to be part of the mechanics of MG powers. It might have been mentioned in the /aco/ thread, but never to this extent.
At the same time, this sort of explanation is itself encouraging. At first I was a little worried that you were getting distracted from ENF by your own fondness for bullying and abuse and non-embarrassment based humiliation, but if you've already decided on a plot outline that involves pervasive corruption and injustice that can only be corrected by overthrowing the power structure, then that's a little better. It's still not the story I was expecting here or the one I'd write in this setting, but as long as the ENF doesn't get completely overshadowed you can go ahead and write what you want to.
