If you do decide to stick with v4 then just know that although there are hotkeys to change how it looks in game pressing f10 to save your change doesnt actually work and you'll have to go into the v4 folder, open the skin.ini, and change the filename of the default skin to load in order to have it show up automatically in game.
Meaning getting the girls fully nude, changing the .ini, pressing f10 to reload mods to see what that version looks like until you see what you like.
I tend to stick to the _L_HL_C.dds for my girls if I want them to have that big bush and _L_A_C. if I want them clean shaven. Might save you some headaches.
