“Ah!” Ami awoke with a start, realizing she was standing on the deck of a gently rocking boat, the breeze in her hair, and the faint scent of seawater on the breeze. She was back where she started, as if nothing had happened. The island, the 'other' place, that unknown room... all of it was in the past. She reached up and sighed lightly, tracing her fingers through her bangs as she tried to put the events behind her, while one hand reached down to her hip and felt bare skin, driving home an immediate realization.
She was utterly naked. Ami gasped aloud, and turned to retreat from the exterior, knowing she had to get back to her room, fast. As if that weren't bad enough, though, a few moments later, she realized something else was amiss.
The walls began to seem taller than usual... and the door started to feel impossibly far away. “N-no, no way...” With each step, Ami's world grew around her... as her form reduced in size, and by the time a passing couple rounded the corner with a pleasant idle conversation, she was a handful of inches in size, hiding along the baseboards closest to the door.
“Y-you said... you'd send me back...!”
A giggle followed by a handsome chuckle rang out, heard only by Ami, until a familiar, pleasant male voice followed. “We got so attached to your petite form that we thought you might enjoy it for a time... it will only persist until your vessel reaches its destination, so do try to have fun. Good luck, little one. Oh, and you may need this...”
As the soft voice faded, a faint clatter rang out, and Ami's phone appeared on the ground in front of her. Ami wasted no time clamoring onto the screen and trying to unlock it. Then a shadow began to loom overhead. A couple was approaching!
**What should Ami do?**
[A] Retreat and hide.
Hold perfectly still and hope they leave.
