I think when it comes down to it there are three common things I can see clearly on panel in every effective ENF drawing: the girl's expressively embarrassed face, an onlooker or onlookers so that she is in fact being exposed to someone, ideally onlookers who are expressive, and of course her exposed body, angled so that it is visible to both the onlookers in the image and the viewer. It seems fairly rare that all 3 of these are given a good amount of detail, but when they are it turns out the best work in my opinion. The attached image technically has all 3 but the onlookers have no detail, so that part is weaker.
