>I don't think sdxl fully understands this sort of character sheet.I've actually been doing a few gens of my other OCs in this format, and this has been the only one so far that's given me this much trouble. For all the others, I've only had to make one or two corrections, but I've lost count of the number of attempts I've made for this one...
>What you can do is use controlnet during the upscale stepI tried it out, and I kept getting the same results. What I ended up doing instead was doing multiple incremental 0.1 denoise highres fixes until I got to a level that I was mostly satisfied with. It still has a few issues, but not nearly as bad as they were.
>general criticismThe "negative (extra digits:6)" was the result of me getting very frustrated at a much earlier gen, and I forgot to lower it again. I know that negative prompts are seen as a sort of a placebo, but they've worked for me in the past. Adding weight to negative prompts are definitely a placebo though. The style prompts are fully intentional though. By adding (style) at the end of an artist's name, it pulls from images of other artists trying to imitate the named artist's style rather than images from the named artists themselves. I did this so that my own style (for what it is) doesn't look *too* similar to the original artists' styles.
