>>2293114This is just the stuff I'm looking for. Before I lay down the groundwork for "quests", I need to know what exactly may be needed to link different scenes and how detailed NPC's state machine may become. If I nail down necessary functionality, it's going to be easier to avoid overdesigning the whole thing, which means fewer bugs and fewer days spent on debugging.
>since this game it rated TIt's not like I care about rating T, I just kind of want to keep the tone light, and, I feel like, since sex scenes are already done to death in every other game, it's just hard to compete in that field. If I'm going to spend time on something, I'd rather do something a little more fresh and interesting. For every hundred games where your character endlessly gets stuffed with cocks, there is one where you get to sneak around naked and get spanked on the arena by an octopus.
>what about having three guilds in the game? Fighter, Mage, and Thief. Each guild could be in charge of a dungeon and to access the dungeon you will need their permission (or maybe just to access the dungeon boss). To get their permission you need their favor. You can earn their favor by doing quests for them.I love this. I've already thought about some staple things, like adventuring guild that might want to haze the heroine, but premise of getting respect from typical factions is a decent way to create a little context for tasks.
Your examples of tasks are good too, if we can flesh them out a bit, there is already far more content than a demo needs.
>(Also, if you are worried about writing, I’m sure there are a couple of “writters” out there willing to lend a hand)Without a demo, I'm just a random assclown and can disappear without trace. I will see what I can do myself first and minimally involve others (other than for ideas, area which you are covering practically on your own).
