>>1896192>>1896205It's just a sort of sadism. The thrill of watching people getting all frustrated about content made by/related to you, and the joy you get watching people try so hard to get to your stuff, even if they fail.
They get pissed when people publicize their stuff cause then they can't get their kicks and self-satisfaction. I wouldn't be surprised if some people make stuff solely for the thrill of keeping it away from potential viewers.
This isn't something new to the internet.
These aren't artists, make no mistake. I hesitate to call MMD content "art" material anyways, being a digital medium of low polygon models in a poor 3D engine. Note how truly original, high quality content is public (like Kanon, or really popular MMD ecchi videos) and the shit locked behind passwords are more or less seen and done before.
