Technically, all the bloodsport gladiator stuff is "per bellum"; sailor fuku and modeling ante bellum. Surely, once an elf knight, always an elf knight, but I guess boiled down to the characters: the highborn ones eventually inherited, became petty rulers and administrators, and looked for husbands to produce heirs, but the commoner-born proletarians got to stay in the military and become professionals and flag officers.
So, uniforms for some, sexy fantasy lingerie for others (or all, under the uniforms).
